The Automatic Door Suppliers Association (ADSA) has launched its new website, boasting improved functionality with a brand-new look and feel.

The site has been produced to maximise user experience, with slicker mechanisms for booking courses and events, a member search facility with postcode and mapping features for customers to find products and service providers.

The association’s online presence, www.adsa.org.uk has been developed to reflect its current activity: extensive learning and development content, industry news and updates and independent compliance assessment services.

It offers a fresh new look, with a rolling home page and enhanced connectivity through third party app integration for improved booking/payment processes. It also incorporates social media feeds.

The site has greater clarity and is more intuitive: the online membership application process has been fully digitised and course/event bookings have a calendar interface to allow users to sync events with their own diaries.

ADSA has also included a shop… by public demand. Members asked the association to produce a range of branded workwear which can be personalised with company/name alongside their ADSA credentials.

The clothes range, which includes tee shirts, polos, shirts, fleece jackets and work trousers, has been produced using environmentally friendly/sustainable materials. Profits from the sale of branded merchandise will be reinvested into learning development – benefitting members in all respects.

Ken Price, ADSA’s Managing Director, said that the redevelopment of the site provided a chance to “review, refocus, and plan for the future”.

“The previous iteration of the site was functional but had started to look a little dated. We wanted to present a new window to the world which said more about the organisation we have become, was easier to use and provided members with new added benefits.

“We think that we have achieved that with a platform that has the scope to incorporate new initiatives and digital services as they continue to be launched.”

Titon has launched a brand new website, showcasing its full range of products, across both the company’s Ventilation Systems and Window & Door Hardware divisions. The site can be accessed at www.titon.com and has been designed with end users and customer support in mind.

The new, responsive site boasts a fully in-depth ‘resources’ section, which can then be filtered across the whole Titon portfolio. This is supplemented by a ‘knowledgebase’ containing up to date details of the UK Building Regulations, as well as the company’s latest BIM and CPD information.

The website also contains dedicated sections tailored for self builders, fabricators, specifiers and homeowners respectively. This then allows users to stipulate the exact resources they are looking for, allowing the relevant information to be accessed quicker. For example, acousticians can locate information about noise levels in just a few clicks, while specifiers can find relevant product test results in the same amount of time. This is in addition to being able to download manuals and technical data, as well as read about the company’s latest news and case studies.

There are also new selector filters which allow users to easily highlight their desired product(s) within either the MVHR, handles or vents range; this enables users to then simply and quickly identify the options available for their specific requirements.

Titon has also introduced a ‘Find my product’ section – a selectional tool allowing visitors to search by division and product type in order to locate a specific item; whether it is a ventilation controller or a window handle, this function covers the entire Titon portfolio, while providing extensive information on the end product once it has been selected. Visitors to the site can submit a photograph of an existing installed product in order to identify a suitable replacement or obtain essential servicing information – a feature which has been designed with homeowners in mind.

Another addition is the dedicated ‘investors’ area, which incorporates the latest information from Titon Holdings Plc, including financial statements, shareholder information and up-to-date stock market details. There is also a native language distribution selector that allows non-English speakers to communicate with the company without translation, as well as download available resources in their respective language.

Commenting on the new look site, Tyson Anderson, Sales & Marketing Director at Titon, said: “Our business has moved on significantly in recent years, so it was time to update our website in order to reflect this. Having such a vast portfolio in both the hardware and ventilation sectors, we felt it was important to provide customers with an enhanced user experience. The result is a fantastic looking site offering comprehensive information about every facet of Titon.”

He continued: “The website is the result of lots of research and workshops, as well as in-depth interviews with key stakeholders and customers, followed by extensive periods of testing. Titon now has a good looking, functional website that will benefit all our customers, regardless of the sector they operate in.”

Triton has published a new website

www.groundgasbarriers.co.uk dedicated to its new range of ground gas protection systems. The site is designed to help construction professionals fulfill the guidelines set out in the recently revised Code of Practice BS 8485: 2015, which explains how to prevent the entry of carbon dioxide and methane into new buildings, and which has been substantially expanded and revised to reflect changes in good practice and to reference recent guidelines produced by CIRIA and BRE.

The new site www.groundgasbarriers.co.uk introduces all Triton’s new gas protection products and includes liquid applied and sheet membrane systems. New Triton TGS-GM500 is a sheet membrane designed to prohibit the ingress of Carbon Dioxide, Methane and Radon. Where a barrier against explosive Hydrocardon gas is also required, new TGS-HCM1000 should be specified. Both membranes are highly puncture resistant and are designed to provide protection for the life of the building.

New TWS-EX100GM provides a solution when protection against ground gas as well as water/water vapour is required. This self-adhesive membrane is designed to provide protection against Methane and Radon as well fulfilling the requirements of Type A waterproofing as defined in BS 8102: 2009.

Where a liquid applied system is more appropriate, Triton’s established TT Vapour Membrane is available for retro-application as a waterproof and gas-proof membrane to concrete, masonry and brick substrates or as an alternative to sheet membranes in new construction.

A full range of ancillary products including fans, sumps, primers, tapes and components for sealing service entries is also available, as is training for specifiers and installers, and full back up and technical support. From the new site www.groundgasbarriers.co.uk, there are links to technical data sheets, NBS specification clauses and detail drawings.
